Lose Weight Fast

I’m sure you’ve heard of crash diets like the cabbage soup diet and the grapefruit diet. The idea is that you eat nothing but these extremely low calorie (or “negative calorie”) foods and your body will have no choice but to lose weight fast. In theory that makes some sense but there’s some serious problems with this idea in practice.
The first big problem is that eating like this for even a short period of time is not good for your body at all. It also feels extremely unpleasant. You will likely feel incredibly hungry while on such a “diet.”
While it’s true that such a diet will likely make you lose some weight at first, your body will soon go into “starvation mode” and hold onto it’s remaining fat with everything it’s got. Not only will this make it harder to lose weight fast like you intend, it’s also possible that it could make it easier for you to gain weight in the future! In other words you are probably doing a lot more damage than good with such a starvation diet scheme. They are a very bad idea.
That doesn’t mean you can’t lose weight really fast, you just have to do it intelligently. For example you can lose weight very quickly with The Day Off Diet without putting your body into starvation mode and you can actually enjoy what you eat. Of course a real diet like this is not only good for losing weight fast, it’s also good for long term weight loss and that’s always the case, because any diet that’s not good for you long term shouldn’t be one you choose to “lose weight fast” either!
It’s OK to want to lose weight quickly, just make sure you do it intelligently. Don’t go for a starvation diet like the cabbage soup diet or eating nothing but celery, instead go for a diet that really makes sense like The Day Off Diet which uses an easy to follow 6 day diet plan that requires a “day off” every 7th day. On the day off you eat whatever you want. This is integral to the plan as it is helpful in keeping your metabolism boosted.
